Publicized through a national TV campaign, this course was circulated, together with a magazine, as a collectible work on sale in kiosks, both in Spain and much of South and Central America. Subsequently it was translated into Italian for sale in that country too.
For this complete course (40 DVDs) I not only acted as a teacher, but also participated as a technical adviser of the work, defining its content, the way of tackling it and other educational criteria.

Competition between University Faculties
Universidad Santa Maria La Antigua (1st place). This event is known as "Novatadas". Apart from other activities, it is a choreography competition, with one team from each faculty (14). We reached the top spot for: originality, story, transitions and dance.

Miss Panama for Miss Universe
Dancer for this national event where the winner is groomed to participate in Miss Universe (International).

Show for the Reversion of the Panama Canal
Dancer and actor. In 1999 control of the Panama Canal passed from U.S. to Panamanian hands. The Panama Canal Authority organized a macro-event to celebrate. Guest artists dance and tributes were prepared for this occasion.

Intercollegiate Competition (1st place)
Each school-institute that wished to participate, had to prepare a choreography to compete. We won first place.

Dance Teachers of America (Competition, 1st place in the modern dance section)
As a choreographer, trained the students of a ballet school to prepare a funky and hip-hop choreography. They won the gold medal in their section.

International Salsa Congress (workshops and performances)
Participation as a dancer in a show representing Panama in a Salsa-Jazz choreography. As a student, I received training in the different workshops which were: Linear-style Salsa, Mambo, Jazz-fusion, Casino rueda, etc.

Participation in workshops as a student of Jazz, Hip-Hop, Ballet and Modern dance. Exhibition of my students of Funky and Hip-Hop who won the gold medal at Dance Teachers of Costa Rica.

The Fantasticks (adaptation)
The Fantasticks, freely adapted from Edmond Rostand, 1894, by director Bruce Queen (Panama). Its ingredients are simple: a boy, a girl, two fathers and a wall. The stage is a wooden platform with a tattered landscape and a cardboard moon. Using only these essential elements, the author and composer have succeeded in giving life to a very funny and touching story of innocence and knowledge.
Participation as an actor. My character was the dumb "wall", the confident of the boy's sweetheart and the girl. One of the best musicals in which I acted.

Fame (adaptation)
Fame is a 1980 film directed by the American Alan Parker which traces the life of a group of students from the school of Art in New York. Adaptation of director Bruce Queen (Panama).
Participation as an actor and dancer. My character was that of Leroy Jackson, the young rebel.

The King and I (adaptation)
It tells the story of a beautiful young widow who, with her son, arrives at the court of Siam in the late nineteenth century to work as a governess for the many wives and children of the monarch. The lady's exquisite manners clashes almost instantly with the despotic selfishness of the king, but the continuing friction between them will eventually lead to a growing mutual respect.

West Side Story (adaptation)
In the West Side of New York two youth gangs are vying for dominance: the Sharks, all from Puerto Rico, and the Anglo-Saxon Jets. The latter are led by Riff, after Tony left the band to lead a normal life and to be able to work. On the side is Bernardo, who is the head of the Puerto Ricans and lives with his sister Maria, newly arrived from the island. One night at a dance, the two groups coincide and are about to provoke a violent fight.
Participation as a dancer and actor. I was part of the Sharks gang.

The famous love story of Danny Zucker and Sandy Olsson, with songs, dances and glitter.

The Tailor of Panama
A British spy is sent to Panama after having had an affair with the wife of the ambassador. Once there, he contacts a local tailor with a dubious past and links to all the high level policy officials and the country's mafia. Besides this, the tailor's wife works for the president of Panama. His mission is to determine what the president's intentions for the Panama Canal are.
Participation as a dancer-extra, in the Carnival sequence for which I wore a mask that makes it impossible to be recognized. This left me with the desire for people to see my face in cinemas around the world!
